Where would I be able to find a dash panel for my 1999 Shabah250? Mine is cracked and would like to purchase a new one. Thanks, Shawn

Your chance of finding a new or replacement unit will be like having Ronald Reagan re-elected President.

Repair is really your only option and it is not for the faint-hearted but it is doable if you take your time. Have a read thru this thread by 'Domgraga' and by our Admin 'ShahahZ250' as both have gone thru this process.

I have the same model of boat with a good one. What do I need to look out for so mine doesnt crack.?

Like most plastics, age and UV rays are probably their worst enemies. The console panels become brittle over time & crack so i'm not sure what you can do to prevent that other than maybe applying heavy wax coats and ensuring the gauges are snug & not moving around. As noted in the "How To's", these panels are 'crazy fragile' and easily damaged.

I might add, if you're going to keep your boat out in the sun often, cover the dash with a towel to keep UV rays down. I do it all the time!

I really don't wish this project on anyone, but repairing is the only option.
