I put together some photos of the install in the How-to section. Hopefully it will help someone with the same problem.

I blew out the line with my air compressor as well. Speedo works great now. It's nice to see all gauges working.

I too have recently purchased a 1992 Mariah MX20 5.8 HO engine OMC King Cobra outdrive . Looking at the pictures of your interior we have different configurations . My boat does not have aft facing seats , but have three front facing seats across the back . The engine is housed behind the back seats with a vinyl covered cover . Did not know Mariah made more than one configuration for the same model boat for the same year .

They had 4 different seating configurations available for most of their smaller boats in each of the model years during their existence. That information is all shown in the brochures etc that contributing members have access to.
