Another member sent me some suggestions on colors. I don't have a Miami store in atl so I need to call them for some samples.

    As far as the carb, your current carb is a Weber/Carter style. Replace your current carb with a Edelbrock Marine 600CFM part # 1408 Performer Series with electronic choke which is of the same design as the stock Weber on your Mariah. All throttle and fuel lines are direct connections without any alterations. You will eliminate the "open throttle" hard to starts. Should run without tuning right out of the box. Your current carb is probably dumping to much fuel at idle and you probably have a lot of soot on the transom especially if you run through hull exhaust.

    It's that edlebrock a two barrel? That's what I have on there now.
