Measure the extended length and closed length of yours and get one from Ebay.
Your not going to find just the motor , going to have to get the complete assembly.
Do a search of the forums and you will find lots of threads on actuator repairs/replacement.

As for the 12v power port , Ebay , Great Lakes Skipper , West Marine , just about any marine dealer can hook you up with one , or at least close to yours.

Yep, i gotta hear this... Generally original Mariah's are very well built and if taken care of by previous owners they'll continue to last quite a few years. Hell, we have a number of '90-'91 owners (first two years where you might expect to find build problems) here who's Mariahs are still running strong and looking good but... if they weren't looked after properly they can be a bit of a money pit (kind of like most older boats) to put right.

All that aside, i have no idea why this thread was started in the SeaFox - Mariah section so i'm gonna move it to the Original Mariah section.

TY Mikety, Wow where do I start, well the hull will be a good area, the lowest point on stern, in 2 spots have been repaired poorly and gelgoat color doesnt match the green, I bought the boat from the orig owner who bought it in Atlanta mhas 24.7 hrs and has been garaged since 2003, claims it must have came that way. Another area is the dash on both sides. Starting w issues on Dr side, first noticed switches werent fully seated in the arc of switched, ( 2 on ea end ) found out the never were because the fiberglass below them wasnt cut out enough, then noticed lowest part of that dr panel wasnt going back fully, reason is the back of 2 acces switches was holding it out, was against the fiberglass panel, the checked out the power outlet while right there to find it was missing on inside and found it sheared off and thrown over that fiberglass panel and just laying against hull. I concluded that when they installed the console the outlet hit the fiberglass and broke it, for to make it right the fiberglass has to be cut for the outlet. Now the port side console, first noticed window wouldnt close by about 1/4", found the chrome brace was bent and lose at frame of windshield, and the all nuts were lose on inside of console at top. I had to get window where it needed to be and bend part that attached to window frame, them straighten out bend in this chrome brace, redrill forward hole and tighten nuts. The 3 ring owners manual is a general info manual w little info specific to this boat, about worthless. Want more info, love to send pix and more info. I thought being Mariah was at end of production before going under is the reason this boat is the way it was.
    Gar

I seriously doubt your boat came from the factory in that condition and was accepted by the original buyer like that. I do suspect that your boat has been damaged at some point and 'repaired' (i'll use that term loosely) by some backyard mechanic or boat salvage yard for a quick sale to an unwary buyer. Those type of issues are not consistent with what came out of the factory. Mariah didn't go down until 2001-2002 and they produced boats right up to the date they closed so yours certainly wasn't at the end of the production run.

One fairly easy way to try and confirm if the boat was originally from the Atlanta area is by sending your Hull ID# via Private Message to our Admin guy (ShabahZ280). He has copies of the build records for nearly all of the original Mariah boats and it will show what dealership/location sold that boat from the factory.

One thing i do agree with is the Owners Manual being useless but unfortunately that was common among most boat manufacturers and not just a Mariah problem.

Poor boatmanship , yes.............. poor workmanship , very doubtful.
Sounds a whole hell of a lot to me , that you bought a boat that was neglected , or should I say flat out abused!
Once I saw the hull damage I would have run period!
That boat didn't leave the factory like that. The previous owner is feeding you a line of.......well you get the drift.
Didn't you check out the boat before you bought it?

+1 on the abuse and poor repairs. Poor factory workmanship was never an issue, even up to the very end for Mariah. They had a pretty spotless record with consumer protection bureaus, including Boat US, with only just a handful of complaints from 1990-2001. Just for the record, your boat is a 1999, which most likely means your boat was made in the latter half of 1998. Mariah went out of business in May of 2001, so it wasn't one of the "end of production" ones, even those were completed and sent out in new condition.

Yes, of course there may be an occasional mistake (hey, we're all human), but the things you describe don't sound like factory related issues at all. I'm quite sure some of the former factory employees that are members here wouldn't like to hear you insulting their work. Non-Matching gelcoat repairs, that is definitely not factory work. I've spoken personally with employees, and even the late Jimmy Fulks (creator of Mariah boats), and they wouldn't ever let something off the factory floor if it wasn't worthy of the Mariah name and quality that people had grown to expect from a builder like Mariah.

24 Hours since 1999? That seems ABNORMALLY wrong. That motor hasn't even been broken in yet... I'd be looking for a disconnected hour meter. Based on the info you've given us about these "repairs" that were done, I'd be pretty concerned. If it's an MPI engine, you can have any Mercruiser shop plug into the diagnostic port and read the real hours.

You should post some pics of these issues. I'm pretty sure we could all agree that most of these were done after the fact. You may have bought a salvage boat that some shadetree mechanic attempted to fix in a half-@$$ method. That's the only bad thing about boats, there's no "boatfax" like carfax to track service history and things like that. If you were in any state other than GA, you could request a title history and be able to determine if it was salvaged/wrecked/sunk/insurance claim, etc. But since GA doesn't require titles, you're kind of S.O.L. there. (I bought my boat in GA too). I really hope you didn't get yourself into a bad boat.... And I really hope you didn't pay through the roof for it.

Wanted to thank everyone for their quick response, I only know what I see and hear, he told me he bought the boat as a leftover from dealer in Atlanta, it sat in water w little use till 2003 when he stored it, ( saw the winterization tag) I can possibly believe it was owned by another who damaged the hull, but the fit of the consoles is definitely factory, I had to cut away excess fiberglass just to get 4 rocker switches to seat fully. I didnt cut away lower area around the 2 acces switches for its holds that part of panel up and the power outlet would never fit w/o cutting the fiberglass also. Perhaps this boat should have be yellow instead of green, LOL I have fixed the console issues except for the 2 sws and the power outlet, but will gladly take pix for those interested.
    TY
