anyone know if the other mariah boats have gas shocks that keep the engine hatch open?
mine doest and its really annoying. the spring that came with it to keep it open will collapse at the worst time like when your in its way. if the other boats do have these gas shocks what are the length and weight of yours? i could guess but seems like with this boat when i guess its been wrong. it is the 2150 xlc.

Mine does its a 03 sx 19. Just replaced them and got them at a auto parts store.

I don't but they come in different sizes and psi.

oh yeah they come im lots of sizes and shapes. thank you for directing me to the other post i forget there is a search on here from previous post about the same discussion. looks like the 80lb 20 inch long should do it. its still a piece of wood with vinyl wrapped so there is some weight.
