Default Carling Switches

Any idea where I can order a new switch? I'm picking up my Mariah this weekend - a 2000 202. Unfortunately it has one broken switch on the dash, but the rest of the boat is mint. Wondering how easy it would be to find a replacement?

Cheers,
Neil

hi Neil, Welcome to the MOC. Point au Baril is where i boat also. Family has a cottage up near the mouth of the Shawanaga River.

Anyway, check our Original Mariah Parts Vendor list for sources of Carling switches.

Anyone know what series toggles are used in our Mariahs?

They used different ones depending on the year & model. They aren't Mariah specific. Post a pic of yours & someone here will identify them for you.

For that year I almost believe it would be a Contura V switch. I have a boat shop near me that carries used Contura V and IV switches exactly like mine. I don't know off hand what they charge for the new switch but the rocker covers are $7. do you need the entire switch or just the rocker cover?
As Mikeyt said, post a picture of the switch. I will be going to the boat shop on Thursday or Friday and I can check once.

it looks like you have perhaps G-Series Carling switches and a mixture of bat toggle as well as paddle toggle. Can you read the numbers off the side of one that you need? I'm sure my local parts house has them. Your style is also readily available on Ebay relatively cheap.

Thanks Brew. The only number I found was 9150 which was only on the toggle for the horn. The others had Carling Patent Pending but no numbers?
