Default What gives ???

When I was looking for a z302 a lil over a year ago, there was only 1 in texas for sale. Found mine in LA on the spur of a moment.

Now there are like 3-4 for sale in the last 30 days.

Got a buddy that would like to buy one, problem is he lives here in Oregon and boats on the East Coast are just too far out of reach. He's the type that would want to test drive it, then tow it home. So taking a spin to the Atlantic on a whim that one is as perfect as he'd like is a BIG gamble and not one he wants to make.

I've noticed the recent increase in Z302's for sale too. There are two of them for sale here in Ontario, one of them being our member Renaud Gil. Maybe its the economy?

I would guess the economy.... I have to admit, the thought of getting rid of mine has crossed my mind at the pump, but gives me shivers at the same time

youd think that with gas prices falling like they have most recently, now is the time to actually afford and enjoy the monster of Mariah's. I can remember last year putting $500+ in ours one time. Now it's only $400 and lasts all week.

Gas prices up here are just bouncin' all over the place from $1.15/litre to $1.30/litre over the last few weeks. But.....if you are filling the boat up at the marina, you're looking at anywhere from $1.50 to $1.65/lire.

The cheapest gas got on the water here was $4.79 per gallon. Just crazy!

For comparison....and hoping my math is reasonably correct, 1 US gallon = 3.7854 litres. If on average for mid grade gasoline (which is what i use in my boat) you pay $3.50/gallon, our average price for mid grade is about $1.35/litre so you pay $3.50 and we pay $5.11 Cdn for the equivalent amount of fuel. If i convert the US -> Cdn, yours works out to about $3.46 And they wonder why those living close to the US border cross over to fill their gas tanks.....

So doing the same math exercise using our average on the water price of $1.60/litre it costs us $6.06 for a US gallon of fuel. Crazy isn't the word.....it's more like asinine.
