Just watching the video of the 1997 model Mariah construction. Way cool. Just wondering if a 1996 was made the same way. Mine is a Z model but I don't have the power radio antana or the power nav light on the back, also my dock light aren't stainless.( i figure they might of been changed) everything else is Z.Just found the 1996 video, looks like the hull is made differently. I still have a question on some of the other Z options

Did the 1996 Z252 come with a power antenna, stainless docking lights and a power rear navagation light like the video shows for the 1997 ?

No, the Z package in 96 didn't come with stainless docking lights (only white plastic), power am/fm antenna, or the power telescopic anchor light. I think for the 97 model year, they decided to ditch the "Mariah Digital Information Center" from previous models and incorporate those other options in it's place.

Thanks for the information, I guess mine hasn't been touched.The 1997 showed somewhat of a double hull, was that the first year for that type construction?

Yes, I believe that's when they started using their new fiberglass integrated stringer system during production.

I wanted to replace the docking lights to stainless steel and I called Barnegat Light and they told me the S/S light housings only were in the neighborhood of $380.00 each!!! WoW was all I could say then I just ordered new white ones for $62.00 each.
