Default Electrical problem

I own a 1995 Talari 180. I am having a problem with the three most left switches on the seven switch dash panel. When I turn on any of the switches for the blower, bildge or courtesy lights, all of the indicator lights for these three switches light up, the depth finder is powered (this is with the ignition switch off) and, under running conditions, the gas gauge pins over to empty. Obviously there is a short somewhere, but I am having a difficult time isolating the source. The remaining 4 switches to the right are all working as they should, All worked well last year and over the winter I installed a battery charger. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Carl

Its pretty easy to unscrew the whole section of switches and bring them forward and see if you may have something obvious. And then I would just remove the wires from each switch one at a time until you find the problem switch.

There is a common hot wire going to these I think and for some reason one of your switches is linking those improperly.

Hope this helps, its just hard to know until you start trying a few different things and find the one thing that was needed for the problem to disappear.
