Default question about 2001 Mariah Diablo 180

Im looking at buying a 2001 Mariah Diablo 180 and was wondering if anybody can give me any feedback on this model. I looked through 50 pages of this forum and didn't see much about this model...is that good or bad?
By the pics I've seen of this boat it appears to be in very good shape.

Thanks
Jeff

I'll weigh in on this one as I own a 2002, 200 Diablo. It appears as though in "01 Mariah decided to come out with an entry level boat and thus the re-emergence of the Diablo series. The late model Diablos certainly don't have the creature comforts and amenities of the Shabahs or other models, however, as far as I can tell the hull design and quality build is throughout. We love our boat, it handles the water with ease and is the smoothest boat I have been in. Aside from some engine tune up work she has been flawless. We love it. Hope that helps

The Diablo was Mariah's entry level boat. However don't let that dissuade you from it, they're still much nicer and much better built than any other entry level boat such as Bayliner, Tahoe, Stingray, Maxum, etc. I've never heard any complaints from Diablo owners! If the boat's in your price range, and you love it, then go for it! You won't be disappointed.
