I thought the Limiteds were solid color boats?

The Limited Editions are solid colored boats. They include solid gelcoat colors, and buckskin vinyl interiors.

While Chris is correct, there are also some exceptions it seems. At least two boats identified here as limiteds are white in color, although being a limited model.

And mine being the opposite in that it is not identified as a limited that I can see, although it has the solid gelcoat option on the Z model, it has grey interior, maybe that's what kept it from being a limited?

Limited or not, they are cool and unique! And with only 3 models made like mine, I would have to say that's pretty limited.

Limited Edition models do include solid white. Mine happens to be one of them. When I spoke with Jimmy Fulks before he passed away, he told me what made the Limited Edition models were "the solid gelcoat colors, special buckskin prefixx vinyl interiors, and special LTD graphics. The up charges could add $2000 to $3000 additional cost to the customer."

Also, any boat could be custom ordered to add or delete specific options, even though mine is a Z-Series, it doesn't have some of the options available in that specific model, such as shorepower, the TV/VCR combo, stove/microwave, or air conditioning.

Zackattack's boat unfortunately is not a Limited edition, as it has multiple gelcoat colors, and was not listed in the build sheets as a true limited model. Even though it is true there were only 3 Z212 Shabahs in the Opal & Red color combinations ever made, it's not actually designated as one. However I'll bet he treats it like one!

I feel stupid that I didnt get that earlier, Thank you Chris.

This was very nice information and you helped me see more clearly the way Mariah designated things.

And I think most of us have a tendancy to treat them very special, since they are.

No, I really don't think it's painted, It's all gelcoat. I do know the people who bought it new and they are quite wealthy, I know where their house on the lake is. Maybe they had no problem ordering a custom colored boat just to have something different.

I've never seen another one, but would like to. Someone on this forum told me the color was called Plum and was available on the 2000 182 Shabah? But I don't really know. What I DO know is we love the boat!!

The other one is a 97 Z255 Shabah Limited Edition in Grey hull color. This is a very beautiful boat. Very low hours and in amazing condition.

Here are some photos retrieved to show the hull color.

I love my boat, but I could be very persuaded if I keep looking at this one!

Man, that gray one is cherry if those pics are recent.
Not to derail your thread but, what's the tray in the engine compartment that both of those have, just storage or is it for something specific? Do all the Mariahs with the big sun decks have those? Anyone have a better pic of one?
