You're kidding.....right? Hopefully you haven't been running the boat without the air blower installed? Mine has one air blower hooked up to an exhaust vent line and a separate vent line with no blower (or is it 'sucker' ) to inhale fresh air.

What year? My '99 Z212 has a blower on the port side, mounted to the transom, just behind the trim pump. It blows air out the vent above the swim platform. The starboard side has a tube that goes into the bilge, under the engine and basically brings outside air in based on the suction from the blower side.

I have one blower with only one hose on the port side, mounted in the same area as indykoch. I've often thought of experimenting around and adding a second blower designed as a "sucker" to bring more fresh air in.

Yes i did run the boat without but so did the previous owner.I do however open the eng compartment before starting and i stay at crusing speed so it should draft enough air. However i am going to put 2 units in mine. One for bringing in fresh air and the other for sucking fumes out. While im fixing the gimbal ring on it.
Mine is a 94 model i havent looked yet but does anyone know where the wires to connect the blower are located.boath ot my air ducts are on the port side.Any pics out there?

The MAIN times you need the blower is if you are refueling at the docks or starting if you keep your boat in a slip. If you trailer your boat you've pretty much got more airflow in there than a blower is going to do anyway. Also if your engine is totally enclosed such as in a cruiser where its covered by the floor.
