Ours is basically like that too, but it is also connected to an accessory swithch.

    Consider how loud that alarm isn't when you're at WOT, and perhaps with the radio blasting. If that alarm goes off under those conditions, you're going to want to know it right away. Suggest that if it annoys you that much, see if you can find a replacement alarm module, compatible with the one you have, but with a start-up delay.

    Has anyone added a time delay relay to add 15 to 30 seconds from the time the key is turned on until the alarm starts?
    I'm going to add one.

    Wouldn't it be easier to replace the alarm unit with one that had a built-in turn-on time delay, like the on in our boat and many other Mariah's?
