I do not know the correct name for the part. It is the rod/piston that lifts the engine cover from the drivers right control panel on a 2350z - 1993.I need to replace it and need to know the part # and make.
The rubber toggles on the drivers side dash have been distorted by the sun.Can they be replaced.

the part is called a "lift actuator". the exact part number might be hard to find, but there are many aftermarket replacements. You'll just need to know the measurement of it when it's fully extended and closed. maybe another member with a 2350Z can chime in with their part number, or their measurements.
