Different manufacturers measure different ways, from what I've read. Maybe someone on here will know how Mariah did it. It's somewhere in the vicinity of from bow to stern though. For fishing tournaments they measure at the water line.
It does not count swim platforms or stern drives. My 19'er is just over 23' overall, with her leg up.
