We're close. I live on the East side of Cincinnati, by the Beechmont area. I keep my boat on the trailer at Rivertowne Marina on the Ohio River. For fiberglass & gelcoat shops, there's a place on Kellogg Avenue called Welch Marine that does good work. Their number is 513-321-9524. I haven't used them myself, but have heard good things about them, and plan to use them for any upcoming fiberglass work I need.
I used a place in Milford called Haynes Fiberglass Repair to do some work on my old Sea Ray. I had heard great things about them and they were recommended by many marinas from here to Lake Cumberland. They were very expensive, but did a good job.
As for trailer shops, I don't know of any, but if you're willing to repair the part yourself, I will recommend
Eastern Marine, out of the Newark, DE. In their Trailer Parts Superstore, they have just about everything you'd need at great prices, and they ship extremely fast. They also have an ebay store if you're looking for bargains.
I haven't had mine up to Caeser's Creek, are you planning to do most of your boating up there? We pass by up there on the way to Lake Erie. Maybe I'll meet up with you sometime!
btw, how did you hear about our site?
