Default Any other Z275 owners on here?

Just puchased a 2001 Z275 today. Has the 385hp 7.4GSi engine. What a great boat!! Anyone have a brochure for the 2001 model year? Also trying to find out how to program the keyless start keypad. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason, Congrats, that's a beautiful boat! I'm assuming you got it from Land N' Sea Collection off I-275. I used to see it everytime I'd head over that way! I'm from the east side of Cincinnati, great to see a local Mariah owner on here!

Since you're a contributor, you've got access to the brochures, and in the Service Manuals for Mercruiser section, there's a manual for the keyless ignition. I used the method it describes to reprogram mine, even though my keyless ignition is the older edition.

Once again, welcome on board. I'm sure you'll find this site extremely useful. We're all really friendly and willing to help. Hope to see you out on the water!

    Hey Chris,
That's the boat. Sounds like you live real close to me if your on the east side of Cincy. We're in Northern Warren County about 5 miles West of Caesar Creek. We're going to take it out there Sat afternoon.

I must have looked over that keypad document the first time. I'll give it a try.

Do you know any good gel coat and trailer shops around the area? There's a few issues I want to get taken care of with the boat. There's 2 rub marks on the keel through the gel coat that I want to get repaired professionally and then on the trailer someone ran the wheel housing along something and put a good crease down the side of it. Minor cosmetic things but they bother me none the less!

We're close. I live on the East side of Cincinnati, by the Beechmont area. I keep my boat on the trailer at Rivertowne Marina on the Ohio River. For fiberglass & gelcoat shops, there's a place on Kellogg Avenue called Welch Marine that does good work. Their number is 513-321-9524. I haven't used them myself, but have heard good things about them, and plan to use them for any upcoming fiberglass work I need.

I used a place in Milford called Haynes Fiberglass Repair to do some work on my old Sea Ray. I had heard great things about them and they were recommended by many marinas from here to Lake Cumberland. They were very expensive, but did a good job.

As for trailer shops, I don't know of any, but if you're willing to repair the part yourself, I will recommend Eastern Marine, out of the Newark, DE. In their Trailer Parts Superstore, they have just about everything you'd need at great prices, and they ship extremely fast. They also have an ebay store if you're looking for bargains.

I haven't had mine up to Caeser's Creek, are you planning to do most of your boating up there? We pass by up there on the way to Lake Erie. Maybe I'll meet up with you sometime!

btw, how did you hear about our site?

We were usually at Caesar Creek at least once a week with our last boat since it's so close to us. We do weekend trips to places like Norris, Laural River Lake, and Lake Erie as well.

Ohh I came across your message board from a link posted in another forum that popped up when searching on Google for info on Mariahs.
