No not yet, the 216 is a bit different, its not just a flat sunpad, but rather also the back of the rear seat that folds up, and the covers / frame store underneath it so I am not sure its that easy to do, which maybe why Mariah never put in support in there. Basically I think any strut will get in the way of fitting the canopy in there, which is a tight fit already. Next time I am on the boat with teh camera I'll take some pics to explain and see if anyone has any bright ideas. Thanks for your pics though.

    Just recently we noticed that our wiper switch stayed lit... we saw it after we swapped out a "new" battery. We just had the unit diconnected.....to keep it from draining the battery.
