Default Clock not Working '97 Shabah

My (Faria) in-dash clock has stopped working. All wires are intact behind the clock. I am told by my mechanic that the clock does work when it has adequate power. So, I need to do some investigating on my own.

1. What fuse does the clock run on (all other instruments are working but thought I would ask).

2. Where are the wires that connect the clock directly to the battery (main versus secondary battery and what color is the wire).

3. Also, where is the ground wire located (is it in the engine compartment, if so, where abouts).

Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated.
