Default transom shower

hey guys i thought i would ask i have a transom shoer on my mariah z235 i have no clue how to work it or if it even works, is anone familiar with this and how it works or what would make it not work thanks

    I don't have one, but from what I understand they simply tap into the cooling water supply for the motor, thus the motor must be running for it to work. There should be some valves to adjust the temp etc.

    Mariahman posted a description of their operation and how to retrofit one. Have a look in the How-To section.

    Under the wet locker door near the shower there should be a switch that turns on the shower motor. Mine also has a diverter that lets me chose fresh (from a 5gal bag) or raw (from a hose connected to a port in the bottom of the hull). My kids left the power switch on last summer and I think have burnt up the motor. I have not checked it out. I'm not sure I will fix it. I have already replaced it once when I first got the boat. I see where it would be useful in salt-water but its just a big squirt gun on freshwater.
