Default Passenger seat no power

1996 shabah 252, I have no power at the passenger seat. Have traced all the wires back to the wiring harness and to the seat. Checked all the fuses and resets and all are good. Any ideas?

Sounds like a dead motor drive. Hook up a direct positive/negative to the seat connections and see if it moves.

Will check the motor, but I have no power at the switch.

    Thanks

So you do have power to the line side of the switch? (Line side is the power going into the switch). If you do, and nothing out the load side (to the motor), then you have a bad switch. If you have power coming out of the switch, then you probably have a bad motor.

If you can trace exactly where the source of power is, you have a break in the wire between the source and your passenger switch. If you are familiar with a test light, I would def use one. If you don’t have one or know how to use one, YouTube is your friend. Super easy to trace power with a test light or meter. Just my .02. Hope that helps.
