Default Now and stern lights

Hi all,

Have another goofy question... I’m checking all the wires as I replace my switches, and for the life of me I cannot see that wires from the bow and stern lights drop out of the conduit to connect to the switch panel. I know I am looking for gray wires. I just see a couple running in the starboard cable bundle. Are these things supposed to be switched or are they automatic somehow?

Thanks in advance!

Upon further review, it appears that I have a missing rotary switch by the ignition - at least from what I can tell by viewing other posts about Nav lights. I just need to see if I can find the style that’s supposed to be there...any recommendations? ‘95 Barchetta

I have a 95 Barchetta, as well. I have one 'rotary', 3 position switch near the ignition; then, there's a plug where another can be put in. I believe it came from factory that way.

Turn switch left from center, turns on navigation lights. Turn switch right from center, nothing happens. Center is off. Zoom in on pic to see the switch.

Thanks... it may have been your post to another thread I ran across that helped me determine I was missing that switch, which is why I wasn’t finding the right wires under my rocker switch panel. I have ordered a Sierra MP78820 Rotary switch (On(1)-Off-On(1&2) Single Pole). I’m hoping that does the trick... provided the wiring is still intact.

I got this boat and it was a disaster electronically and had a terrible interior, one thing at a time!

    Thanks for the response!
