Here is my side exit exhaust on a 2005 Mariah 21SX. I did the install myself. I bought the inline silencers, SS exhaust flanges with flappers and the hose from Hardins Marine online. The silencers just slip in the 4in exhaust hoses and will tame it down some, straight exhaust is loud. The 5.0L motor is not stock it has edelbrock intake and carb, 276 duration 502 lift cam, head work with double valve springs....... Mike

Im working with a corsa rep ,id like these tips but down lower, hoping i could put them where the blue is on your boat ( just below the waterline under the formed skirt)
Its still shrink wrapped and in storage.
Not cheap for the system that gives you the toggle switch from " straight pipe" to normal exhaust, so far its 2100 plus taxes just for the corsa exhaust kit.

Going to be a good season on the water!!!!

That is a sharp looking tip! I know it is important to have enough drop to the tip especially if running a performance camshaft. I wanted to go lower on my tips but didn't have a big enough flat area to accommodate the tip, also wanted to stay above water line was worried about water intrusion with the camshaft I have. It's scary Cutting a 4in hole in the side of your boat. I bet I measured like 10 times before I cut. Good luck with your Install it will get lots of attention when running straight exhaust.

Yes its either that or come thru the transom. The corsa rep told me they still have the tips made specifically for the first gen mariah's.
Have you noticed a difference in the 5.0 with the performance upgrades? If a guy had a heated shop would make for a fun winter project! Aside from what the wife wants done of coarse. Lol

2000k for the corsa setup is steep. You can find nice used ones for a 1/4 of that. Get on powerboat swap meet on Facebook. A complete set popped up in there for $400 a few days ago. There is also Off Shore Only forum. There is a lot of cool stuff for sale on those sites.

Did you run the diverter exhaust? I was just about to pull mine from storage, but it snowed again here! I think late 98' models stopped using wood in the hull's except for transom support. Did you have to cut thru wood?
Im not a big fan of the wake tower on the shabah i bought. I feel aftermarket add ons arn't engineered, and the stress on the boat where its mounted may cause more damage than its worth. Ill probably take it off.

Moto, is it hard to get on that powerboat swap? I tried to join 2 weeks ago and nothing yet. Maybe if i show some cleavage they'll let me in haha!
