I hate to ask this question because I'm sure it's already been beat to death for many different boats on the forum. But.... I would love to put a Captain's Call Exhaust setup on my 1996 Shabah z200 with a 5.7 V-8 Alpha One on it. I look on Ebay and other sites from time to time to see if I could find a deal on a setup new or used but honestly don't know which one or what models etc. will work. So I was just wondering if someone else that has the same boat setup as mine that has done it or has it from the factory could tell me what would work, or if I'd have to measure everything seperatly and contact Corsa about it? I didn't really want to do that because I know how much it would cost to buy it direct, but it might be what I'd have to do to find out the right setup. Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes, this topic has been beat to death on here. Do a search for "exhaust" and you'll find all sorts of info.

To answer your question quickly and easily, yes it is possible, but to go with an OEM style setup, you will need the Mercruiser Silent Choice system, and the Corsa custom rounded flange tips. To do the setup the right way using original parts and tips, you're looking at about $2k, which may not even include installation charges.

Most people are interested in doing this until they see how much it will really cost to do it right. Another thing is to check your local noise laws with marinas and areas that you boat.

The advice I always give is: "$2000 sure buys a lot of gas, dockage and beverages. Just enjoy what you've got, and if you need it that bad, make sure your next boat has it already installed."

Thank you for your reply Chris! The noise law is not a problem here in AR., but your sure right about $2,000 buying a lot of gas, beverages and everything else! I will definitely make sure the next boat I buy has the exhaust option aready on it for sure, but at the same time I love my boat and may have it for years, it just hit 150 hours! I'll just have to keep thinking on it I guess? Thanks again for the info!

I had the Corsa exhaust installed a few years back - love it. The 'silent choice' is on a switch that works great.

If I recall correctly it was 1800-2000 installed.
