Default Transom mounted courtesy lights

Anyone have pics of these. I have 3 holes barely showing above rub rail dead center at transom. They are about 1/2" diameter. Wondering if it used to have the lights. Is that where they would have been mounted?

Can you post a pic so we can get a better understanding of what you're describing?

20150909_163912.jpgIf pic attached, I marked the 2 middle holes with blue tape. The are 2 more to either side of these about 6" away.

Was the rub rail ever replaced?

Not sure. Bought boat last year. These holes are bigger than a screw hole though. That's why I thought maybe this is where courtesy lights used to be, for wires to run through.

My guess is your rub rail was replaced at some point. Mariah never put courtesy lamps near the rub rail.

Ok thanks. I have seen that they had the courtesy lights but not sure where. Their add I saw was talking about lighting up the ladder at night etc so I wondered. Anyway, thanks guys

The only courtesy lights that were installed in the transom officially by Mariah were the engine lights mounted inside the engine bay, and the round transom light installed near the ski hook on the larger boats.

Ah ha. Didn't realize it was on big boats only.

Is it possible that someone had added a swim platform and then it was removed.
