    The tabs have some adjustments for different hole patterns . But with these on you were not able to do any adjustment with steering

    I have the same ones.
    they are not made to be a steering adjustment per-se, more of a planing & idle, no wake wandering correction.

    What hole location do you have currently have them?

    I would start with the lowest hole setting and move out from there. mine is set on the middle.
    I have a 21ft (210) 6000# boat.

    With yours you might be at the last two holes (further away from the transom) since its a 180.

    i would move them out two places (holes) and go from there, the 80# seems pretty stiff for a 180 so the outer most hole might achieve what you require.

    They do help in planing .But i have the leaning problem. Mine is the only boat going down the lake at a 45 degree .
