Default Z302 - Parts needed........ ignition key switch

I'm trying to find the ignition switch for the Mariah Z302. The cylinder keeps coming out of mine and sometimes does not catch to start the motor.

Know where I can get one?

Around Houston Texas.

The Search function is your friend here. Have a look at the STICKY entitled "Original Mariah Logo Keys & Key Cylinders" on this page.

I haven't put it in yet... LOL How do you get the switch out? Looks like you have to take the faux wood grain holder out. Any idea on how to do that? Couldn't find it in the search.

302 has the ignition, blower and horn in the same faux wood dash dealio. Its below and to the right of the steering wheel. Ill have to do some more poking around when I get a chance... Maybe tomorrow... I'd post a pic but the pics I've tried to download say they are too big...

    doaclnr,

The faux wood cover will snap off. You gotta be really, really careful doing so as they're getting old and brittle. And as you know, that is a next to impossible part to find if you need one.

I would suggest taking out your fuse panel and then reaching around to the backside of the faux wood ignition/horn/blower panel. As Mikey then suggested you'll be able to get at that locknut that holds the ignition cylinder in. It should then slide out and you can hook up your new one.

    Good luck!

Ok, I didn't need the ignition after closer review. I just needed the waterproof cover for it and a good tightening. That being said I have a new ignition with key minus the waterproof cover. $30 shipped. I believe that is what I paid for it.
