I need help locating where to get replacement windshield for my 95' Mariah Runabout boat. the left passenger side windshield broke.

Any help would be appreciated.

The only chance you have is finding a used one on eBay/Craigslist or here in our own Marketplace.. I''m not sure what model Mariah you have (Talari, Shabah etc)?

The boat came with the house purchase so digging through, found it. 1993 Mariah MX19 18' 7inch' runabout inboard stern.

another person recommended to put in a pexiglass instead - any experience on this?

Yes, have a look thru this thread for one member's experience. You can use either acrylic or plexiglass/lexan. Acrylic has better UV and scratch resistance, plexiglass is stronger.
