Welcome! I'm also from the Houston area. Lake Somerville is a Great Lake for boating!

Whats the difference between the Talari and Barchetta? i was told mine is a barchetta, but it looks exactly like this Talari.

You should look a little closer. There is one obvious difference from both of your pics. Take a look at the shape of the side windows.

Thanks everyone for the welcome...took boat out this weekend ran great. Only thing is the steering seems to be a bit off. when going straight the wheel is turned 90 degrees clockwise....Any ideas or fixes I can do my self or should I take to a marina?

That should be a relatively easy fix. Remove the centre cap, remove the nut and the steering wheel, then centre & reinstall.

But i do recall reading this bit of helpful advice for this problem on another boating site:

My steering wheel was only 15 degrees or so out of sync.

I put several inches of shims under the right side of my captain's seat. That fixed the steering wheel problem.

Then, I noticed all the gauges were no longer centering in the vertical. Everything was running fine, so I determined the problem to be with the gauges themselves. I removed and replaced all the gauges with new ones. Since they were new, I was able to install them such that they centered to the vertical.

Then I noticed the boat listed to starboard. So I bought some trim tabs. I run the starboard trim tab a bit higher than the port and everything was great.

Then I noticed the other boats on the lake kept turning into me. No amount of complaining, horn blowing, etc would fix the other boaters, so I bought the lake and made it private. Now no one turns into me.

Then I noticed the lake wasn't quite straight...............

I think it was Andy b who tried this....
