I removed the plug in the cooler and it drains on to my carpet and then into my ski locker is this how it should be ? There is no other place for the water to go because there is no hole under bottom of cooler.I also notice the ski locker is always wet on the bottom is this normal?

Familiarize me with the location of your front cooler? Mine is located just below the glove box and drains out the side of my boat.

As for the ski locker being wet, yes it happens. There is a drain at the back of the locker which allows water to flow into the bilge area to be pumped out. You may have to run a bottle brush or whatever thru that drain hole or maybe even trim back a small bit of the carpet.

Which model & year? I always thought a front mount cooler would be handy. Your not mistaking the anchor compartment are you? Although I wouldn't think it would drain on the floor either.

IT is a 1996 21 and1/2 foot open bow the cooler is under the front cushion.

Odd, i always understood that the Talari 215 was a cuddy version only.

Sigh....that does make a bit of a difference. None of the 1996 Mariah boats measure out to "21 1/2ft". It's either 21'2" or 21'10". Do you know for certain if it is a 1996 and a Talari? IF its a Talari then i suspect you may have a 220. I assume that you may also have the insulated ice chest on the passenger side just below the glove box?
