Did anyone ever go see this boat? I am looking at the same one and am considering going to see it. It is 1.5hr drive and will save my gas/time if it is not in worthy shape.

Thanks!

Purchased the "Buckskin" colored Nautalex from Gary's Upholstery in Florida. Perfect Match!

slindsey, If this boat is still for sale, it is worth looking at. Even at an hour and a half away. People like me have been known to drive 5 hours to look at a boat. Summer is getting close and it probably won't last long at that price (If it is in good shape).

    Hey guys,
I went to see this boat today and I wanted to post a report about it. I did not buy it. :-( It is a single owner boat (very nice guy). The boat itself is in pretty nice shape considering it is a 97 and the chariot single axle trailer is also nice. The owner has had all of the maintenance done at the same shop and has all of the records. The engine looked pretty clean but we did not get as far to start it up. The boat needs more cosmetic work (all minor) than I wanted to sign up for right now and thus I did not trouble the owner with starting it up or dropping it in the water. I really think I had an unfair expectation of what to expect. Based on what I have read around the forum, I bet many people here would be willing to fight over this boat. I encourage anyone close by who is looking to check this one out.

I was still going to consider this one if I did not find something else, but happened upon a 2003 Maxum 2100 with 55 hours on it. The thing is mint and I worked an excellent deal. I guess I have to join the Maxum Owner club.

    Happy Boating!

    Shelby

You do know that the maxum is an upgraded "Bayliner"? but I guess if the deal was right. Hope you enjoy it.
