Default Steering Wheel Replacement

I am a proud new owner of a 1992 Mariah 19 ft boat. I am thoroughly enjoying it. I just recently realized the top part of the steering wheel is bending, and needs replacement. I was going to go onto Overton's and order a new one.

Does anyone know if this is an easy process, or if I have to order a special steering wheel.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe they are pretty interchangable with 3/4" tapers. Iboats have a large selection also which can be viewed here.

Let us know if you get a wheel you particularly like, please. I have the same issue... my right hand got a little heavy in some rough water one day and I guess I was hanging on pretty tight with my left But, I haven't seen a wheel that looks as nice as the factory one and I want to put the factory badge on the replacement, so I've just been holding off.
