2001 JulibeeDB
Hi, I have a family member offering me the opportunity to purchase either a 214 of 215 Jubilee. He doesn't return from Florida until mid April so I can't check it out to determine the actual model until then.
Here's what I know...the boat purchased in 01, Chicago boat show, and has rarely been used, it has 68 hours on it. It's a dual prop (bravo ?)In the summer months, it always looked good on the hoist and almost never made it into the water. The boat was winterized yearly and has spent the off season months in his garage.
Needless to say, the boat aesthetically is in great shape with one exception. The yellow finish has the appearance of being oxidized. My uncle tells me the color was a special option for the boat? My guess, the darn sun reeked havoc on the finish! Can the color be restored to its original luster through polishing or are other more expensive measures required?
Can anyone tell me the differnce between models 214 and 215.
I tried researching the net (E-bay & Craigs list), without much success, in order to determine a fair $ value to offer, I can't even find any images of a DB boat. The only resource that I can glean any info from is NADA. It suggests an average retail of $11800 before adding any up ticks for engine and options
