Hello, My name is Darrin and I am a Mariah owner, There I said it, what a relief. I own a 95 Z195 Barchetta with a 4.3 alpha 1 outdrive.......

I would love some info on putting in a thru hull exhaust system (cheap) and possibly info on repairs done to the hydro lift motor cover. Thanks everyone and I hope everyone has a safe boating season this year.

For curiosity's sake, are you looking for more power or for that loud rumble with the thru hull and do you have a particular budget range in mind?

power is always a plus but I'm looking for noise right now i don't have a price range or an Idea of how much it will take to have a cool sounding boat

Welcome to the board! Price-wise you're looking at around $1500 minimum to get a thru-hull system, that's if they even make one for the 4.3L v6. You won't want to cheap out on this, and installation should really be left to the professionals, since it requires two 4" diameter holes cut at the waterline. I really wanted thru-hull exhaust too, but then decided to put it on my wishlist for the next boat.
