Hello and greetings from Idaho,

I recently purchased a 96 Talari 201 this spring, and have had it on the water twice already! Wow, that's all I can say. I knew Mariahs were nice but I was pleasantly surprised.

This forum has been a great source of information thus far and I look forward to picking everyone's brains in the future.

    Ahoy skibum27kb,

    Glad to have you aboard!

When you have a some time, tell us a little more about your 96 Talari 201, I have a 96 Talari myself, A Z240. If you have any pictures of your Talari, upload them to our gallery if you like. For a tutorial on uploading to our gallery, Click here.

We also have a Member Map, so take some time to stick your pin on it. Here's a tutorial on adding your pin: Click here

Lastly, did you know we have a growing library of manuals, brochures, wiring diagrams, and all sorts of information relevant to your Mariah, the stern drives and equipment. All of these are available to our contributing members. Click here to see what each level has to offer.

If you need any help getting around the Forum, just me a shout,
    WetWilly

    Default Paint Color Codes?

Thanks for the welcome!! This forum is great and I enjoy reading all the posts.

In regards to more detail on the Talari, it is not a Z series but does have a 5.7 Merc with an Alpha one. The next time it is on the water I'll snap a few shots and upload them.

I do have a question that hopefully someone can help me out with. Do you know the color code for Polo green? That's the color of the Talari and I need to pain the registration on the bow.

    Let me know your thoughts.

PLEASE don't paint the registration on the bow... Get vinyl decals. Much easier, and doesn't cause any permanent damage.

In fact, if you'd like, I can make your decals for you, and I'll cut you a Mariah Owners Club deal! Send me a few pics, and I'll try to match the color as close to your hull as possible.

Or, any local sign shop should be able to help you out too!

    Chris,

Thanks for the information about painting as opposed to the decals. I don't have any pictures to upload yet, but here she is on the website that I found her at.

    http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...LARI--92249274

It's the dark green which that year brochure calls Polo.

Also it came with all the original manuals and even a brochure for all 96 models that I would love to share with everybody.
