Default New Z272 owner

Hello all - This weekend, we just completed a 1300+ mile journey from Iowa to Kentucky to pick up our 1998 Z 272 Shabah. We had a few issues getting home... a wheel bearing on trailer let loose just outside of St. Louis and a blown tire on trailer 20 minutes from home that made the trip interesting... None the less, we are excited to be Mariah owners. It is too bad that we had to winterize and put away for 7 months before taking her out! It is going to be a long winter!

Congradulations on your new Mariah!!!! Sorry to hear about the troubles - we had the similar issues with ours, blown tire, electrical etc. issues that caused a very long 1 day plan to be stretched to two days! But it was all worth it in the end.

You've got us beat on the miles by a 1000!!!!

Anyhow welcome to the club! There's nothing more exciting then purchasing a Mariah and having her home! Look forward to some pictures soon!!!!

Hi apickens99, ditto on what daveraymyers said, welcome!

Had the very same issue with a bearing but fotunatly, the tires held up, probably since California has one of the slowest speed limits for trailering - 55mph max.

Well glad to hear you made it back safely and think of the next 7 months as a time to do maintenance and any of those "up-grades we all seem to do...

Congrats on your new Mariah! We are new to the Mariah fold as well, just having acquired a 1998 Z272 Shabah this past August. We've love the boat! She rides so smooth and solid through the water. Good luck and smooth sailing.
