Yet another Newbie
Hello and greetings from Idaho,
I recently purchased a 96 Talari 201 this spring, and have had it on the water twice already! Wow, that's all I can say. I knew Mariahs were nice but I was pleasantly surprised. This forum has been a great source of information thus far and I look forward to picking everyone's brains in the future. |

Paint Color Codes?
Thanks for the welcome!! This forum is great and I enjoy reading all the posts.
In regards to more detail on the Talari, it is not a Z series but does have a 5.7 Merc with an Alpha one. The next time it is on the water I'll snap a few shots and upload them. I do have a question that hopefully someone can help me out with. Do you know the color code for Polo green? That's the color of the Talari and I need to pain the registration on the bow. Let me know your thoughts. |
PLEASE don't paint the registration on the bow... Get vinyl decals. Much easier, and doesn't cause any permanent damage.
In fact, if you'd like, I can make your decals for you, and I'll cut you a Mariah Owners Club deal! Send me a few pics, and I'll try to match the color as close to your hull as possible. Or, any local sign shop should be able to help you out too! |

Thanks for the information about painting as opposed to the decals. I don't have any pictures to upload yet, but here she is on the website that I found her at. http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...LARI--92249274 It's the dark green which that year brochure calls Polo. Also it came with all the original manuals and even a brochure for all 96 models that I would love to share with everybody. |
