Hey shipmates,...I bought a 1993 Mariah 18ft one inch with a 4.3 l v6 mercruiser for 3k. Brand New upholstery red/white.it hadn't been started in three years. New battery in it and it cranked right up after 15 min of turning it over and giving some throttle. Trim just clicked, there was a loose wire on a butt connector that I fixed but no change, I tapped on the trim motor with a love tap or two and boom works fine now....put a can of sea foam in it and float tested her. Engine rpms would go high but boat barely would move, just putting around really... after running it for a while it began to put out more and more horse power. Took it out two more times each time gaining strength. So yesterday at almost full speed I heard a noise and I stopped moving prop won't spin. Has a 4.25 in diameter on the prop. And it says it's a 21 for the pitch. Do I need a hub kit or ...?update.....I did the kick test making marks and the marks didn't move so idk if the rubber parts in the prop are still good or not, or where else my problem would be...thanks for any suggestions...also I did run thru mud in shallow water about 30 min prior to the problem occuring wondering if junk sucked up the motor would cause my problem....
