Unhappy probably done for season : (

Went by the marina the other evening to check our boat on the lift since we had not been out on her for a couple weeks. Not what I wanted to "see"!! A "trail" of Gear oil "running" down the side of the skeg.
Best guess is a leaky seal on the propshaft. Good news is that the drips of oil were still the " bluish green color" of the mercury gear lube (ie hopefully uncontaminated by water intrusion)!!
Anyone with experience with similar issues on a Bravo 3 please "chime in".
Will probably bring her home for the winter/ winterize and "explore options".
rebuild, exchange, go to a bravo 1 and add power? etc. Suggestions?

gotta say, B1's are plentiful and fairly cheap, B3's however are not. They claim a pretty hefty price used.

Im gonna do something this winter for sure. Dont think Ill get rid of the B3 as I like it around the docks and such, but more power and more prop are in order.

Supposed to be 82 here tomorrow.....gotta hit the water for sure. Not many days like that left here in the NW.
