Hello
Has anyone repaired there engine cover hatch the hinges pulled out of the rotted wood in the back and can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace the wood?
do you remove the plastic cover on the bottom side of hatch then peelm back the upholstery?

Didn't have the plastic on my other boat but I did remove the gas shock mounts pulled off the upholstery. Then I just bought same thickness of pressure treated plywood and stained it with water seal 4x replaced the upholstery. Had it for 10 years after never another problem. Good luck.
