Default Garboard plug

Good afternoon,
I noticed my garboard plug flange was sloppy when I put my plug in. I removed it and found they had cut the neck short which eliminated the ball check. It also allowed all the bilge water to sit on the wood in the transom. So far doesn’t look terrible, but I purchased the same flange and it seems too small. Does anyone have a picture or know the part for the correct garboard plug? I have a 1996 barchetta 182.

I don't know any specifics on the flange, but if you search garboard drain you will find several conversations about sealing, replacement and sizing. I haven't seen any with ball checks, mine is simply a threaded flange.

I’ve seen that, the issue is, the hole is 1.25” round by 2 1/8” deep. There’s exposed wood from the transom in the hole. There’s also a cutout section just inside the outer fiberglass section of the transom at the bottom.. So I either need to fiberglass or seal that hole or find a new plug flange that will cover that depth. I was hoping someone with a barchetta could get me a picture or information on they’re set up. If not I’ll have to get brass piping and create a sleeve for the hole and the new garboard plug.
