Re: Exhaust Flaps

I want to thank everyone for their help in regards to the exhaust flaps. I have finished rebuilding the engine and I did install the exhaust flaps as the original holes were still there from the old flaps being removed and tossed.

I have a new problem, the prior owner had the the boat re-upholstered. and in the process the rear passenger seat was not installed properly.(I don't think) The engine cover lays over the back of the seat and I am missing the side panels that insulate the engine compartment and the rear seat was only installed with 2 small hinges with 6 screws in each hinge. The seat backs or headrest were recovered also but never put back on the top of the rear seat because the engine cover lays on top of rear seat. The prior owner told me I could install them if I wanted to, but something doesn't line up. Could anyone have these side panels and possibly send me the measurments so I could cut my own and maybe send me a picture of how the rear seat is installed and the rear hatch or engine cover is supported.

Glad you got the flaps taken care of cl. That could have turned out bad sooner or later.
As for the rear hatch/seat setup , can you shoot us a pic of what yours looks like know so we can compare?
I'm sure the Shabah guys will chime in also , but the hatch should butt up against the rear seat back(I believe).
Pics of what you got would help a lot. :)
Take a look in the "Gallery section" , bet you can see a few there.
