i recently bought a sx19 bowrider,,it has a gallery light switch with a wire going somehere but no lights anywhere(i havent chased the wire back yet)
does anyone know what this switch would turn on

How do the terminals look attaching to the switch? How does the switch look? Get an ordinary toggle switch for a few bucks at a local hardware store. Cut your ends off and temporarily wire them to the end to see if it turns a light on. Then go back and wire it correctly to a new switch.

On my SX21 I have 2 small lights, 1 in the bow and 1 in the middle of the bench seat in the back. My switch is the last one on the right side of the console. These were included in an upgrade package, and possibly dealer installed. You may have the switch and wire from the factory, and the dealer never installed the cockpit lights.
