Re: Table Support?
Hi
il_Mio installed a Springfield table onto his SX18. Now I dont know if this will be the same size as yours, but it might be a good start. Click this link. http://www.mariahownersclub.com/foru...e-project.html Regards |

Re: Table Support?
Looking at Johans installation, he cut a hole in the carpet then attached the base to his floor.
After the installation he reinserted the removable carpet. The top of the base looks to be about 100mm to 130mm above the level of the floor. Hard to tell exactly. The table base is 27" tall then the table top. The 6 stainless screws attaching it looked to be about 400mm long perhaps longer (hard to tell in the picture). He had to be careful because the fuel tank is under the floor. I hope this is enough info for you. He bought it from West Marine - table is Springfield. West Marine are one of our forum sponsors, so just click their link on the right. Cheers Tony |

The support is indeed just placed on the floor (raises about 15mm), so does not require any holes except for the screws. Please pre drill the screw holes with a smaller drill bit without forcing so that you don't hit anything below ( example gas tank in my case). Once you have the pre drilled holes, you can probe with a nail or iron wire to see how deep you can go ( and hence what length of screws you can use). Always use stainless steel screws. Cheers, Johan |
