Default Looking at buying SX25 2009

I just looked at a 2009 SX25 with 800 hours on a Mercruiser 350. I was impressed with the condition of the boat and in my 30 mins looked to be in very good condition. Anything to look out for? My only concern is difficulty of finding replacement parts, but I am not sure what to look out for. thanks.

Welcome, that is a nice boat. Built by Sea Fox using Mariah molds. The design is solid, the ride is smooth. If it looks like it has been well taken car of then it is a good boat if the price is right for you. Yes, you will have a difficult time finding parts if plastic moldings or other things are broken. Can find some stuff on ebay or other boats that are being parted out in the group.

With 800 hours, check on when the last big maintenance items were done - bellows, gimble bearing, seals, etc. If it has been years, you should expect to do that maintenance fairly soon so budget for it. This is the end of boating season, so people are looking to sell now and prices are generally lower. get to a price you are happy with.

Also, if you do purchase or want more info - join the Mariah Owners Club facebook page. It is much more active and you will get more responses than on this site. Good Luck!
