Default Mariah SC 19 instuments, where to buy?

I need a new fuel gauge for my SC19(2005 mod), anyone know where I can find one? I also need the transmitter in the gastank. Did a google on Faria instruments, but it seems like this instruments are custom ones? My instrument has this number: 59655 116/05

Don`t know the number on the transmitter, but I guess this also is a custom one?

    Hi Kyn

The Faria gauges have a life time warranty so you could contact Faria and arrange to return it for repair / replacement. www.faria-instruments.com

Great Lakes Skipper www.greatlakesskipper.com is another source for Mariah gauges. They advertise regularly in EBay.

As for the fuel gauge sender unit, i dont know what make/model the new Mariah used. The sender unit will have the make/model stamped on it. Have you located the unit and checked to see if the wiring is still connected and / or if the connections are corroded? If it's not working then your gauge wont.

I had a serious melt-down in my system. The fuel gauge is the only thing that didn`t make it I did some Ohm-tests on both gauge and sender and they don`t work anymore. The value on the sender is 0 ohm, so I guess it will show full tank when I replace the gauge?

And yes, there is no corroded connections onboard

Do you think they will replace the gauge when I tell what happened?

I had a look at greatlakeshipper, but I didn`t find it.

I dont know how Faria will respond but i might just play a little dumb & say it stopped working. It's worth a try.

I'm not sure where to obtain new Mariah gauges other than going to SeaFox or possibly a European distributor for Sea Fox / Mariah. Perhaps some of the others who have the new boats can chime in on this?

There was a complete set of Faria - Mariah gauges on Ebay just last week too...

    I will try that

I`ve contacted SeaFox without any luck:-(

If I don`t find the original, I`ll order the Faria Cessapeak SS white(looks just like it).

Thanks, Mikeyt! You always respond fast to my questions
