2004 SX19 test drive
Hi All,
I'm hoping to be joining the ranks of Mariah owners tomorrow afternoon. After looking at several boats, I've found an 04 SX19 (259 hours on the 4.3) that looks to have been well taken care of. I've always been a bassboat guy, so the inboard thing is new to me, as is a bowrider configuration. But, wifey doesn't fish and I'm looking forward to spending some time pulling the daughters on a tube during their college summer break.
I'd love any advice on what in particular to look closely at tomorrow during the test drive. Mechanically, there might be an issue with the engine compression (see Lower compression in one cyclinder- Deal killer? ) that I hope will resolve without issue.
If the sale goes through, I look forward to sharing with all of you and contributing to this forum.
