Looking to buy a Bimini top for my newly purchased SX20. I see some places like overton offers them made for my boat. I want to make sure it is tall enough for a 6' person to walk under it. Has anyone bought one of these made for this boat? Anyone with pictures of it installed. Thanks Kirt

Kirt, I just went through figuring all this out for my 180 shabah.

I also thought I wanted it tall enough to walk under, but decided differently by the end of my research. First to think about is how often are you actually standing up under the Bimini. Also it will catch my air and be less stable at speed. Finally the sportier boats look better with a shorter top.

If you still decide you want it that tall, just measure from your intended mounting point up to make sure your top will be tall enough. Most of the manufactures will offer tops with different height options. If you haven't already check out Carvers website. They have a ton of useful info.

Thought i would post a pic incase anyone else was looking. I did not install this so assume it is factory fitted. The bimini mounts are on top of the windscreen and I can easily stand beneath it. Imo it's not big enough though. Limited shade

Oversize top and custom mounting location. I am 5'10" and it could be a few inches lower and still high enough for me to stand under. I wanted to be able to drop it in front of the windshield sometimes, instead of leaving it furled up in the bag.
