Default New member need help

Sorry I'm a new member/owner of a 2001 Shabah z250 with the Bravo III. I had it out today and it was fine until I tried to shift into gear and felt a slight clunk then it wouldn't move.I shift it to drive or reverse I can give it throttle but it won't move.I can turn the prop left to right and the prop spins freely by hand. Any advise?

Hey Dominick, I recently bought a 250. I inquired with a few z250 owners. Just curious where you picked yours up from?

Back to your question- did it work prior to buying it?
    Is there enough drive fluid?
What else do you notice about the drive, movement, sounds, damage?

So it wont go in gear in either forward or reverse ? I could guess and offer this:

    1. Either your shifter cable is out of adjustment and not throwing far enough to engage the tranny.
    2. Your drive shaft is broke (been there/done that)
    3. The clutch went out inside the upper unit
    4. The splines are so warn in the coupler the drive shaft is spinning in it.
