Question Sonar/GPS Install

I'm installing a new HumminBird helix 5 sonar/gps in my 21 ft, 2000 Mariah Shabah 202. How do I wire it to an accessory switch? Is orange wire positive and black negative? Also do I need to install the inline 3 amp fuze or wire it to the accessory switch then change that fuze (in fuze box) to a 3 amp? If I had a diagram of the fuze box, then could I wire the power for the unit to the accessory connection at the fuze box?

Sorry for the remedial questions, any advice would help.

Thanks,
Ramsey

Just in case anyone else has this question: I just traced out the wiring for my SimRad Sonar/GPS unit which was installed before i bought the boat recently. It was wired directly to one of the the behind-dash fuse panel spare positions so that it would not require any switch to be on for power. I think that would be most convenient since it draws a tiny amount of power when turned of at the front panel. The spare position used a spade quick-on terminal.
