Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
Looks great. I have a 220Z same color and need to do the same thing (jump seat and sundeck). How much for the material and how much for the labor? Did you get the material from the website and then use an upholstrey shop to install it?

I ordered enough material to do my entire boat and it cost around me $500. That is for the 3 different materials with some excess. Labor is where it really hurts, $700 is what it cost me. You might find it to be cheaper in your area if there are enough good upholstery shops in the area. There are only a couple in my area and they are not hurting for work! I did order the material directly thru Omnova but I had to set up an account and order a full roll of the one material. That is where the excess comes in. If you do plan to order this from Omnova, contact me and I'll see if I can order your material cut to length thru my account. No guarantees on this though! Let me know if I can be of more help. Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
Does any body know what color scheme Mariah used for there upholstery??????
are this uni colors?????? greezz Rick |
Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
Colour scheme will depend on the model. Later models have a solid colour on the seats, earlier models were a two tone. Mine are two tone with the colours matching those of the hull.

Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
Hello Mike,
Your upholstery job looks great! :wink_thumbup: I will need to have my 1995 sun pad replaced and the rips in the seat seams some time in the near future too. It looks like you have a blue color. Mine is called Bimini and I think the seats are pearl. I like the original textures. I would be interested in contacting Omninova if you still have the info available. Thanks Dave |
Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
Thanks,
Mine is actually blue and it is called Brite Navy. My other color is called Putty. It looks White but it is actually an Off White. The other material that is used is called "Punch" Putty. It is the material on the seats and seat backs as well as the center top portion of the Sun Deck. It appears to have the tiny dimples in the material. I used the "Mariner" Line of Material. They have several different lines as well as one that is very close to Mariner, it is called Mariner Xtra. My contact was Diana Walsh and I was able to reach her at 330-869-4321. I recommend visiting their Web Site first, looking at their colors availabe and the Line of Material you feel looks close and then contact her. She sent me samples of the material at that point to compare to my boat and I chose what I felt matched. NOTE: Read my earlier post about the amount I had to order! Let me know if you need more assistance. Mike |
Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
Hey Mike!
Do you happen to have any of the "punch" fabric left that you would like to sell? You said the color was putty, correct? |
Re: New upholstery for sun deck/engine cover
I do have some left but I plan to use most of it this winter when I finish the rest of my Interior. At that point I'm not sure how much will be leftover.
